There are 3 types of devices in this category: metered dose inhaler (MDI) with a spacer, a Respimat device and Genuair. All of these requires the patient to either depress the canister (for MDI) or press a button to deliver the drug (Respimat) or prepare drug for inhalation (for Genuair)
